House of Lies Stars Under Fire
If there were ever a good excuse to use green screen on TV, we now have one. While filming an episode of House of Lies in South Central Los Angeles on Friday, a firefight broke out between local gang members. Co-stars Don Cheadle and Kristen Bell tweeted fans after the incident to assure us that they were still in one piece.
In keeping with the trend of celebrity death hoaxes, Cheadle posted, “Holy sh*t, I’m dead (TMZ),” to which Bell (or is it Bell-Shepard now?) replied, “I am like 99% sure he’s not dead…wait a min… #zombiedon @IamDonCheadle,” with a very undead photo of Don. Rapper turned guest star T.I. was also on location during the shooting, and was unharmed.
Hart of Dixie Actress is Drama Free
Even though the 10 year anniversary of The O.C. was months ago, news stories from the show continue to live on during this fall season. Additionally, Tate Donovan’s remarks regarding his teenage co-stars are still ringing in our ears. In March, Donovan appeared on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live, where he publicly shamed the actors that most would consider to be the true stars of the show, calling Mischa Barton the “biggest diva” of the cast.
Last month Mischa herself opened up to People magazine about the mental breakdown that allegedly resulted in her character, Marissa Cooper, being killed off the show, and this week the latest rumor to hit the mill is that she’s still being shunned by co-star and current Hart of Dixie actress, Rachel Bilson. Despite the accusations that Bilson is rallying their former castmates against Barton, undoubtedly fueled by Rachel’s Funny or Die rap video in which she disses Mischa, her rep tells the Huffington Post that she “has no ill will toward Mischa.”
